《威士忌品鉴课堂》(中文版)出版

由埃迪.勒德洛(英)著,孙方勋,孙立新等翻译校审的《威士忌品鉴课堂》(中文版)一书,近日由中国轻工业出版社出版并在全国公开发行。

 

本书英文版来源于全球著名的出版商—英国DK出版社。作者埃迪.勒德洛是英国资深的威士忌专家、英国蒸馏酒同业工会会员、国际葡萄酒和烈酒大赛(IWSC)评审团成员,他还曾担任苏格兰雅柏和格兰杰威士忌的英国品牌大师。

 

主审孙方勋先生为酿酒高级工程师、中国酒协技术顾问委员会委员。

 

本书对威士忌的定义、历史、原料、工艺、熟成、储存及鉴赏等进行了详细全面的介绍。书中不仅对苏格兰、爱尔兰、美国、加拿大和日本传统的威士忌生产国进行了讲解,同时还详细介绍了欧洲、美洲、亚洲、南半球等新兴的威士忌产区的特点及产品风格。

 

全书最大的亮点是引领读者如何掌握和品鉴威士忌。书中根据不同原料、工艺、产区特点,对威士忌进行分组品鉴和分析。通过对20轮80款全球有代表性的威士忌进行对比品尝,最后采用了品鉴的专业术语对每个产品进行了权威性的评价。

 

《威士忌品鉴课堂》(中文版)新增了“中国大陆”章节,由本书主审孙方勋先生撰写 ,从而完善和丰富了全书的内容。

 

 

"Whisky A Tasting Course" (Chinese Edition), originally authored by Eddie Ludlow (UK) , translated by Mr.Sun Lixin etc and reviewed by Mr.Sun Fangxun, has recently been published by China Light Industry Press and released nationwide.

 

The English version of this book originates from the globally renowned publisher DK (Dorling Kindersley). The author, Eddie Ludlow, is a distinguished British whisky expert, member of the Worshipful Company of Distillers, and judge for the International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC). He previously served as the UK Brand Ambassador for Ardbeg and Glenmorangie Scotch whiskies.

 

The chief reviewer, Mr. Sun Fangxun, is a senior wine-making engineer and member of the Technical Advisory Committee of the China Alcoholic Drinks Association.

 

This book provides a comprehensive and detailed introduction to whisky's definition, history, raw materials, production techniques, maturation, storage, and appreciation. It not only covers traditional whisky-producing countries such as Scotland, Ireland, the United States, Canada, and Japan but also explores emerging whisky regions in Europe, the Americas, Asia, and the Southern Hemisphere, detailing their characteristics and product styles.

 

The highlight of the book is its guidance on mastering whisky tasting. Grouping whiskies by raw materials, production methods, and regional traits, it conducts comparative tastings of 80 representative global whiskies across 20 rounds, followed by authoritative evaluations using professional tasting terminology.

 

The Chinese edition features a newly added "Mainland China" chapter, authored by chief reviewer Mr.Sun Fangxun, further enriching the book's content.
